This article shows the process for withdrawing cryptocurrency (like ETH) from your crypto wallet to a cryptocurrency exchange to convert to your local currency. Before we get started, make sure you have the following:
- a crypto wallet connected with Indigena Market(like MetaMask, Connect wallet)
- an account on a cryptocurrency exchange(Easycrypto) sign up if you haven’t already
Once you have those set up – let’s dive in!
Withdrawing cryptocurrency to an exchange
For your first cryptocurrency withdrawal from your crypto wallet, we strongly suggest withdrawing a small amount first in order to familiarize yourself with sending cryptocurrency between two wallets.
This is to avoid sending your funds to an unknown/non-existing wallet. Please note that since transactions on the blockchain are irreversible,
 funds that are miss sent will likely be permanently lost.
For this tutorial, we’ll be showing how to withdraw ETH from MetaMask to Easy CryptoÂ
First, make sure to navigate to https://easycrypto.com/?ref=90706033
click Sell Now, proceed to select the crypto you wish to exchange
Your order is ready, all that’s left is for you to send your crypto funds to the Easycrypto recipients address.
Ethereum, the ERC-20 token. Do not send NFTs to this address!
Once you’ve copied your Easycrypto recipients ETH address, head back to MetaMask and press Send. Enter the Easycrypto ETH address as the recipient before deciding the Amount to transfer.
Once you’ve decided the amount to send, click Next. Confirm the transfer
once you have reviewed the Estimated gas fee and Total amount.Â
